Born in 1992 in Hebron, Palestine, Noor is a distinguished painter known for her genre and sacred-idyllic landscapes. Her passion for art was nurtured from an early age by trusted mentors, before she pursued formal studies at Dar Al-Kalima University College of Arts and Culture in Bethlehem. In 2014, she became a member of the Palestinian Association of Artists.
Over the years, Noor has received several prestigious awards, including the Ismail Shammout Fine Art Award in 2017 and the Qanadeel Short Film Festival Award for her short film “Inside You” in the same year. She has participated in numerous local and regional exhibitions, showcasing her evolving artistic voice.
In July 2020, Noor and her sister, artist Anwar, held their first joint exhibition titled "Light." This was followed by their second exhibition, “Ascend” in November 2022, which achieved remarkable success and widespread recognition. Today, their artworks are featured in several local and international galleries and collections.
A defining element of Noor’s artistic vision is her spiritual perspective, which centers on sacred places and the light descending from the sky—symbolizing mercy and peace flowing to the earth. Through her brush, she captures not only landscapes, but also the unseen energy that connects heaven and earth. Her paintings invite the viewer into a moment of stillness, reflection, and hope in a world often marked by turbulence.
Noor’s artistic style is shaped by a blend of classical and contemporary influences. She studied the works of 18th-century masters such as Van Gogh and Monet, while also drawing inspiration from modern artists like Vladimir Volegov, Daniel Gerhartz, Malcolm Dewey, and Kevin Macpherson. These diverse influences have helped her craft a unique artistic identity that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries.
By the end of 2021, Noor became a regular exhibitor in Jerusalem’s art galleries, continuing her journey as both a committed artist and a freelance creator. Her art remains a personal and expressive reflection of her story, her roots, and her enduring vision of peace, spirituality, and light.
