Blindness of Insight

Description:

In Blindness of Insight, an ordinary gesture - wiping the surface of a mirror - becomes an encounter with the limits of human perception. An anonymous figure stands before an aged mirror, yet the area being cleared does not reveal a sharper reflection. Instead, a dense forest emerges through mist and tangled branches, as though every attempt to see more clearly opens another layer of uncertainty. 

Books and blank pages escape the mirror and scatter into the room, turning knowledge into a field of fragments and unfinished narratives. At the figure's feet stands an open cage. The expected symbol of freedom is absent; in its place rests a motionless stone illuminated by a faint golden glow. 

The door is open, yet departure does not occur. The work quietly asks whether clarity is something we discover - or something our own perception continuously constructs.

A psychologically charged narrative work in which freedom, knowledge and perception remain deliberately unresolved.
