Threshold of Becoming

Threshold of Becoming explores transformation not as a simple journey from darkness into light, but as the uncertain interval in which we are no longer what we were, yet have not fully become what we might be. At the base of the composition, dark roots intertwine with corroded gears and mechanical remnants until the organic and manufactured become almost indistinguishable. 

They suggest accumulated time - a past that remains physically embedded in the present. From this weight emerges an ambiguous human presence whose boundaries dissolve into turquoise, muted green and atmospheric haze. Above it opens a luminous arch, yet the passage reveals no destination. Across the surface, faded inscriptions appear like traces of a language whose meaning has been partially lost. 

The work becomes less a journey toward a destination than a meditation on transformation itself: not where we are going, but what happens to us while we are becoming.

A more abstract and curatorial work centered on memory, accumulated time and the unresolved process of transformation.
